Event : NBA Africa Game

Luc Mbah a Moute will travel to Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa, to participate in the NBA Africa Game on 1 August, a gala that will pit a selection of NBA players from Africa to a global selection also composed of NBA players.

All profits from this first NBA game in Africa will be donated to three organizations: Boys and Girls Club of South Africa, SOS Children’s Villages Association of South Africa and the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

Other events will be organized around this match, as conference with intervention of NBA players and legends as well as coaches, about leadership and health / wellness for youth.
Gregg Popovich (San Antonio Spurs coach) will handle the Team Africa while Lionel Hollins (Brooklyn Nets coach) will manage the World Team.

Team Africa, comprised of players born in Africa and second-generation African players, will feature team captain and two-time NBA All-Star Luol Deng (Miami Heat; Great Britain; born in South Sudan), Al-Farouq Aminu (Portland Trail Blazers; U.S.; parents from Nigeria), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks; Greece; parents from Nigeria), Nicolas Batum (Charlotte Hornets; France; parent from Cameroon), Bismack Biyombo (Toronto Raptors; Democratic Republic of the Congo), Boris Diaw (San Antonio Spurs; France; parent from Senegal), Gorgui Dieng (Minnesota Timberwolves; Senegal), Festus Ezeli (Golden State Warriors; Nigeria), Serge Ibaka (Oklahoma City Thunder; Congo)*, and Luc Mbah a Moute (Sacramento Kings; Cameroon).

Team World, comprised of players from the rest of the world, will feature team captain, NBPA President and eight-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers; U.S.), Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards; U.S.), Kenneth Faried (Denver Nuggets; U.S.), Marc Gasol (Memphis Grizzlies; Spain), Pau Gasol (Chicago Bulls; Spain), Jeff Green (Memphis Grizzlies; U.S.), Marcus Smart (Boston Celtics; U.S.), Evan Turner (Boston Celtics; U.S.) and Nikola Vucevic (Orlando Magic; Montenegro).

As every year, Luc Mbah a Moute during the organizing basketball camps in Cameroon, distributes a multitude of gifts, especially in orphanages. This year, it is the young children of the Home of St. Therese who had the pleasure to receive food and presents from Luc Mbah a Moute.

Luc Mbah a Moute Basketball Camp 2015: the pics!

The 2015 edition of Luc Mbah a Moute Basketball Camp has finished last Tuesday. Another success with 83 selected basketball players, including 22 girls aged 13-17 years and from Bafoussam (West), Bamenda in the North West of Buea (Southwest) Douala in the Littoral region and Yaoundé (Central and South), attended the camp for three days.
