A game that was first dominated by the Pistons until the Clippers responded back in the second quarter with a great performance of Jamal Crawford (37 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds) and Blake Griffin (34 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds).

In the first quarter, the Pistons quickly lead 8 points with 5-13 and 10-18. Shooting 3-point even gives Ilyasova 11 points ahead 14-25. Therefore, the Clippers react with 11-3 that reattach them to 25-28 at the start of the second quarter. In four minutes, the visitors will widen the gap to 17 points by chaining a 16-2 in a defense of Los Angeles who is not (27-44). Fortunately, Jamal Crawford, the man of the game energized his teammates, which helped the team catch up and reduce the gap at the end of the quarter (26-32) to reach the locker room with 9 points behind 51-60.

The Suns quickly took control of the game and led the whole time. After Blake Griffin ( 11 pts, 4 assists and 3 rebounds ) tied the game at 10-10, Phoenix went on a 7-0 run. Griffin once again gets the Clippers back in the game at 20-17 nut Phoenix will end up winning the 1st quarter 30-25 with a huge Brandon Knight ( 37 pts, 4 assists, 2 rebounds ). With a 3 pointer from Johnson followed by a bucket from Crawford, the Clippers even up the score to 32-32 in the beginning of 2nd quarter. Smith’s dunk even puts them up by one 34-35. The Suns will accomplish a 9-1 run in the remaining 2’30 » to take the lead back : 28-24 in the 2nd quarter for a score of 58-49 at halftime.
