The Sixers won their second match up of the year against the Nuggets with a big time 4th quarter ( 27-9 ! )
The 76ers started the game well, dominating the first two quarters 22-21 and 27-25 to take the lead at the half 49-46. Robert Covington is leading the team and ties is career high with 25 points (6 rebounds, 2 steals), while Nerlens Noel keeps delivering with 14 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals.
In the second half, the Sixers scared themselves a little in the 3rd quarter. Although Covington scores 15 points in 6 minutes, Denver take the lead on a 14-6 led by Ty Lawson, best scorer for the Nuggets (19 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals). Denver wins the quarter 30-23 and snatches the lead 76-72 entering the final quarter. The final twelve minutes gave a one-way game where the Sixers will tie up the game on a layup from Nerlens Noel, then continue to score (14-2) while Denver misses most of their shot attempts. 27-9 in the 4th quarter for a final mark of 93-85. The Sixers finally get to won again on the road and record their 18th Win of the season.
