Houston quickly took a 10-point lead 22-12 and took the first quarter 32-20. The second is identical (33-19) for the Rockets who fly over the meeting and lead already to the 65-39 break.

Houston has up to 35 points in the 3rd (85-50) and quietly controls the end of the game (32-30 and 23-19). With 47.3% success against 39.1% for locals, Houston also controlled all areas of play and limited to 12 points the best scorers opponents (Isaiah Thomas and JR Smith).

The Rockets won for the second time this season against the Spurs. A controlled match from start to finish against the 3rd of the Western Conference. James Harden has 28 points, 2 rebounds, 11 assists, Clint Capela 14 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, Luc Mbah has Moute 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in 35’15.

San Antonio will lead for 1’30 on a 4-0, then Houston takes the lead to lead until the end of the match. Limited to 14 points in the first quarter, the Spurs are already 13 points behind at the end of the 27-14 period. The Rockets master the second quarter 27-24 and lead 54-38 at the break.

The Rockets keep the Spurs at bay in the second half, even though the locals pocket the 3rd quarter 32-28, and return to 6 points at the start of the last quarter 82-76. Chris Paul has 3 baskets at the right time and gives the Rockets a 12-point lead 88-76, which is 102-91 in the Texan derby!

The Rockets are still 2nd in the West with 37 wins and 13 losses.

James Harden made a feat tonight against Orlando. With 60 points scored at 19/30, 5/14 at 3 points, 17/18 free throws, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, he is the first NBA player to score 60 points in a triple-double. He also beats the record points of the franchise, held by Calvin Murphy in 1978 with 57 points. In the absence of Chris Paul, Trevor Ariza and Eric Gordon, the bearded took things in hand and allowed Houston in the money time to pocket the 114-107 victory.

Both teams held a few points throughout the match. Orlando first took the first quarter 30-27, led by 5 points in the second 43-38 before Houston went back to 51-50. The Rockets pocket the second quarter 27-25 and stick to 1 point of the Magic at the break 54-55.

The Rockets take the lead in the 70-63 restart, the Magic returns 3 times but James Harden 3 points gives the advantage to the Texans 90-88 who pocket the 3rd quarter 36-33. The end of the match is very tight, 107-107 at 3’36. The two teams do not score for 2 minutes, then James Harden concludes his extraordinary performance on an award winning shot, a 3 points and a free throw! Luc Mbah a Moute (8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 pass) on a last free throw completes the game 114-107!

After a balanced first game, the Rockets beat the Suns in the second half. James Harden has 27 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, Chris Paul 17 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, Luc Mbah has Moute 13 points, 2 rebounds, 1 pass.

The Rockets pocket the first quarter time 28-24, but the Suns pass them in front of 33-30 at the beginning of the second quarter. Both teams stand and are tied 49-49 at 3’33, but Houston ends well on an 11-4 and take the period 32-29. At break, the Rockets lead 60-53.

Phoenix equalized 62-62 at the restart, but James Harden 3 points gives the advantage to the Rockets who will escape in the third quarter (32-24). With 15 points lead 92-77 at the start of the last quarter, the Rockets control the end of the game 21-25 and won their 35th victory.

With a rain of shooting at 3 points (10!), Houston leads 23-10 in 5 minutes and takes the first quarter time 38-28. The second is the opposite, since the Rockets only return 13 points! Fortunately, defense keeps Dallas at bay. The locals score just 17 points and Houston leads 51-45 at half-time.

The Rockets quickly conclude the deal in the 3rd quarter that they win 34-22. With 18 points lead 85-67 in the last, Luc and his control the end of the game despite a 8-1 Mavs in the money time. Houston is second in the West with 34 wins and 12 losses.

Houston fought to beat Miami. After a first quarter-time missed, the Rockets have reduced the gap before the break, then made the difference in the last 3 minutes. James Harden finished with 28 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, Chris Paul 16 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists.

The Heat starts well and leads by 10 points 26-16 and pockets the first quarter 33-25. The Rockets rule in the second by tightening the defense. Anderson equalizes 44-44 on a 3-point, the Rockets win this round 21-17 and glue at the 46-50 break.

The second half is very contested. Houston equalizes 57-57 and takes a 3-point lead 71-68 at the end of the third quarter (25-18). The last quarter is very tight, with the two teams still tied at 88-88, 4 minutes from time. James Harden 3 points and Chris Paul drive the momentum of victory in the final minutes. Miami looses hold, with a failed attempt by James Johnson and a James Harden counterattack against Hassan Whiteside. The Rockets finish on a 11-2, take the last quarter 28-22 and win 99-90!

After his shoulder injury and a few weeks of unavailability, Luc Mbah Moute made his comeback at the meeting of the night, opposing the Rockets on the floor of his previous team of Clippers.
The Californians emerged as 113-102 winners after taking the lead just before half-time. Luc Mbah a Moute scored 5 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 26 minutes, Eric Gordon and Chris Paul finished with 19 points each.

The Rockets start well and lead 23-15 but the Clippers glue and are at 1 point 30-31 at the end of the first quarter. In the second, Houston puts it back and takes a 10-point lead 44-34 but on a 12-2, Los Angeles equalizes 46-46. Williams at 3 points offers the period at Prems 29-25 and the advantage at break 59-56.

The Clippers take a 12-point lead in the 81-69 pick, and pocket the third quarter 33-28 to lead 92-84 at the start of the last. A sufficient lead to control the end of the game, marked several consecutive tense moments concerning Griffin, Mike D’Antoni, Trevor Ariza and Chris Paul. The Rockets fail to come back to less than 9 points and leave the 113-102 win at the Clippers.

The Rockets remain 2nd in the West with 30 wins and 12 losses.

The Rockets have mastered the Suns by taking the advantage at the end of the first quarter time to dig until the end of the game. Chris Paul has 25 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and Clint Capela 17 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists.

Phoenix starts the game well and leads 21-10, but Houston wakes up and goes on a 17-2 which gives them the first quarter 27-23. The rest of the match is one-sided for the Rockets, who have up to 18 points in the second quarter 47-29 time and pocket 30-21. At the break, the hole is made 57-44.

The Rockets take a little more lead in the 3rd quarter (33-24) and have 22 points in advance 90-68 at the start of the last. Anderson at 3 points gives at the beginning of the period 27 points lead to the Rockets, which unfold the end of the match.

Still deprived of James Harden, the Rockets won on the floor of the Bulls. Despite a return of the premises in the 3rd quarter time, the Rockets have mastered the game overall. Chris Paul has 24 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, Eric Gordon 24 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, Gerald Green 22 points, 3 rebounds.

Houston starts strong and goes all 3 points, leads 30-13 and pockets the first quarter 35-22. In the next period, the Bulls narrow their gap to a 33-25 and return to 4 Rockets before the break, which lead 60-55.

At the restart, the Bulls take the advantage 66-63. The Rockets react with an 8-0 at the end of the period, which gives them the 3rd quarter 27-21 and 11 points lead 87-76 at the start of the last. The last 12 minutes are completely under control by the Rockets (29-31), who are back to winning 116-107 after 2 losses.

In this duel of the first two of the Western Conference, the Rockets lost to the Warriors in the last quarter, after a balanced match, despite a dominance in visitor statistics (45 rebounds at 38, 35 assists at 20, 55.2% at 2 points against 47.2%). Eric Gordon has 30 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists, Chris Paul 28 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, Gerald Green 29 points, 3 rebounds. In front, Stephen Curry finished with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, Klay Thompson 28 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and Draymond Green 17 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists.

Houston takes the first quarter time 37-33 at the end of the period, thanks to the 3 points of Green and Gordon. Golden State starts on a 7-2 in the second quarter and returns to 39-40, then both teams cling to halftime. The Warriors pocket it 29-26 but the Rockets stay ahead 63-62.

The third quarter is just as tight, the Warriors are ahead of 74-79 and then the Rockets pass in front of 85-79. The two teams are tied 90-90 but Young and Curry chained the 3 points, giving them the period 31-27 and 3 points ahead at the start of the last 90-93. The Warriors quickly take a 10-point lead 91-101 and control the Rockets who fail to come back. Golden State takes the last quarter 31-24 and the match 124-114.

During a crazy game and after 2 extra time, the Rockets have returned to victory against the Lakers after a bad series of 5 consecutive defeats. The return of Chris Paul has done a lot of good (28 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists), while James Harden who already had 40 points, 2 rebounds and 11 assists came out injured in the 4th quarter (ischio). Trevor Ariza adds 26 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists.

The match starts on a big rhythm, the two teams stand but Houston ends well the first quarter and passes 44-37. Los Angeles quickly tie in the second 51-51 and won this quarter 35-21. At the break, the Lakers are in front 72-65.

The Rockets are struggling in the 3rd quarter, and have up to 17 points behind 71-88. They reduce the gap a little, but the Lakers pocket this 3rd period 29-25 and lead 101-90 at the start of the last quarter. Houston does not give up in the last 12 minutes and manages to narrow his gap. Gerald Green tie 122-122 on a 3-point 17.4 seconds buzzer, allowing the Rockets to hang overtime. Five crazy minutes during which take turns the head of the meeting. Chris Paul gives the 133-131 lead at 4 seconds, but Tucker fouls Ingram at 0.8 seconds, which turns his two free throws and tie 133-133. It was in the last minute of the 2nd extra time that the Rockets managed to win their opponent. Kyle Kuzma gets countered twice, Chris Paul tie 142-142 on free throws, then PJ Tucker scores on an offensive rebound. Chris Paul completed the game on 4 free throws. The Rockets finish well the year on this final victory 148-142!

The Rockets are not completely cured, and will have to stand still some time, the absences of Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) and James Harden.

Bad series for the Rockets, who bow for the 3rd time in a row. Still without Luc Mbah a Moute and Chris Paul injured, Houston lost in the end.

Both teams played side by side throughout the game, with very little difference in score. OKC starts on a 7-0, then the Rockets equal 22-22 and pocket the first quarter 31-28. The Rockets take a 7-point lead in the second 50-43, but the Thunder takes the lead just before break 58-57.

OKC starts the third quarter on a 11-2 lead 67-59, but Houston is late and back to the score. The Rockets pocket the 31-30 period and are tied with local 88-88. The Thunder finally won in the last quarter (24-19) despite a tight match to the end. Russell Westbrook finished with 31 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists, James Harden 29 points, 8 rebounds, 14 assists.
