After their win over the Pistons, the 76ers keep up that positive energy to notch a second win in a row against the Wolves 103-94. A disputed battle all the way until the 76ers take the lead in the final act. Michael Carter-Williams with another triple double (17 points at 6 for 13, 10 rebounds and 10 assists) and Luc Mbah a Moute, scoring leader with 18 points at 5 for 11, 2 boards, 1 assist and 2 steals are the two men putting their team on the path to victory.
The game stated out on a crazy pace with two quarters on a very offensive note. Minnesota prevails the first quarter (28-25) until Philadelphia strikes back in the second 35-31. At half, Sixers are slightly up by two 61-59. On the Wolves side many players give a hard time to the Sixers. Kevin Martin scores 19 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists while Nikola Petrovic gets 18 points, 7 boards and 2 assists. Dieng records a double-double posting 14 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
In the second half the rythme calms down, even though the two teams keep going pound for pound. Minnesota gets back ahead (18-17) and everything will be decided in the final act. 78-77 for the 76ers entering the last quarter and this lead will be quick comforted by Luc and co with a 10-1 to start the 4th quarter with ! 88-78, but Minny will cut it short by passing a 7-0 to close out the gap to 3 points (88-85). The lead will eventually stabilizes itself and see the Sixers snatch the quarter 25-18 to win the game 103-94.
On the stat sheet, the 76ers made 50% of their shots versus 45% for the Wolves. Perfect tie game from the foul line with 21/25 (84%) while the Sixers made 8 for 23 from the 3-point line versus 5/14. Stats are slightly in favor of the Sixers in the assists line (27 vs 24) while Minnesota prevails the rebounding battle 38-34 but turns the ball over more (21 vs 15).
The 76ers record their 10th win of the season (for 37 losses) and leave the last spot to the Knicks in the Eastern conference. In the West, the Timberwolves are sticking in the depth of the standings with 8 wins for 38 losses.
The Sixers had a beautiful victory against the Pistons with 89-69, this was one of the best game they’ve ever played this season in front of their fans.
The difference was made at the beginning of the game with the 76ers starting the first quarter with 18-0, Michael Carter Williams (14 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists) and Robert Covington (19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 pass).
The gap was getting wider to 24-4 before the Pistons scored 8 points, but it did not make any difference in the way the 76ers were playing as they were dominating the first quarter with 28-16. The second quarter on the other hand is a bit less easy for the 76ers, the Pistons took over by 20-21 with Jodie Meeks (19 points, 1 rebound, 3 passes) and Greg Monroe (20 points, 11 rebounds, 1 passes), but this doesn’t get in the way of the 76ers who end the second quarter with 48-37.
In the second half, the Pistons will return several times to 9 points, but Luc Mbah a Moute (12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 passes, 2 interceptions) and his teammates are still at it. Though the Pistons tried to come back in the game while shooting few 3-points, the 76ers were dominating the second half with 20-18 at the 3rdquarter and 21-14 at the last quarter. It is with a 20-point difference in the score that the 76ers win the game and stop the series of six consecutives loss.
The 76ers, with 47% success in firing against 31% side Pistons, 33% to the 3 points to 7/21 and 48 rebounds, they have delivered a full match before hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves, last in the western conference with 8 wins and 37 losses.

Atlanta did not come to Philly to play around and clearly won 107-85. Hawks dominated in every aspect of the game (48% from the field vs 41%, 12/23 from behind the arc vs 9/25, 34 assists vs 20, 47 rebounds vs 35).
Starting from the first half with a 12 point lead already at halftime 49-37 (25-20 and 24-17). Nevertheless, the performance of MCW (20 pts – 8 for 13 – 9 rbs and 4 ast) helped the Sixers tying the gam up at 33-33 with 6 minutes left in the first half. But in front them Al Horford was fighting back getting his first triple-double with 21 points (8/10), 10 rebounds and 10 assists along with
17 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist from Kent Bazemore.
From that point on it seemed to be mission impossible for the Sixers, especially as the 3rd quarter started on the same pace (25-18) and the Hawks will take the lead up to 22 points. The fourth quarter will be a formality for the Hawks (31-32) who end up winning 107-85. A little set back for the Sixers who won 3 of their last 4 games and lose Tony Wroten with a sprained right knee on top of that.
In this situation it wasn’t easy for the Sixers to to play back to back the next day in Toronto. The scenario isn’t really the same but at the end the score is very similar.
The Raptors did’t waste any time to break away from the Sixers with a 13-0 to start the game. Toronto is ahead (34-19) but the Sixers will fire back in the second quarter with a 12-1, led by a good Michael Carter-Williams ( 29 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals ). Nerlens Noel records 8 points in this act ( total 12 points, 8 rebounds and 1 ast ). The 76ers close out the gap only being down by 4 at the half (50-46).
But Philly will go through a free fall just like in the beginning of the game and go scoreless for almost 4’30 ». Therefore the Raptors take their chance to widen the gap. Even though the 76ers score 23 points in this quarter, Raptors stay ahead with a 10 point-lead to get into the last quarter. However Philly isn’t trying to quit and is used to crazy ending scenarios. KJ McDaniels (10 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist) keeps hope alive with a shot followed by 2 free throws (79-73). Philadelphia won’t be able to ever catch up with Toronto who even finishes on a 7-0 (29-23 in the 4th). Raptors wins it 100-84. As usual Luc Mbah a Moute was in the starting line up in these two games.

The 76ers went on for a second Win in a row last night ( 93-92 ) facing the Indiana Pacers. Once again, they earned this win in the very last seconds of the game, on a play from MCW who had a full stat sheet ( 15 pts, 5 rbs and 9 ast ).
After the two teams observed each other in the 1st quarter ( 21-19 for Indiana ), the Pacers will take a slight lead with a good David West ( 28 pts, 9 rbs, 2 ast ). Tony Wroten ( 20 pts, 4 rbs, 9 ast, 2 stl ) and Robert Covington ( 16 pts, 2 rbs ) lead the Sixers and allow the team to keep up with their opponent. At halftime, Sixers are only down 6 ( 49-43 ).
Everything will play itself out in the second half with several key moments. Philadelphia returns to head in the 3rd quarter that they prevail 29-21. They started with a 12-3 before the Pacers take the lead back at 62-60. Three 3 pointers in a row allow Philly to flip the script around and lead 69-62 before Indiana goes for a 8-0 run while the quarter is about to end. But a « and 1″ play from Tony Wroten puts his team up 2 to enter the 4th quarter ( 72-70 ). The Sixers will go up to a 7pt lead with 7’28 » left in the game ( 84-77 ) but the Pacers close out the gap again and even go ahead. With 1’29 » left, Wroten scores a lay-up ( 89-88 for the Sixers ) before a play from Roy Hibbert puts the Pacers ahead one more time ( 90-89 ).

Crazy ending when Covington scores 2 points with 32.9 seconds in the game to put the Sixers up by 1 and the answer from David West with 17.9 seconds put the Pacers ahead once again ( 91-92 ). 9.9 seconds on the scoreboard, MCW makes a lay-up to seal the deal with the 76ers up 1 ( 93-92 ) followed by a missed shot at the buzzer from David West. A flashback from last night’s game in Brooklyn with the explosion of joy of a team that had a very tough start of season. The renewal seems to be on ! And this second home win put a smile back on the whole team’s face as well as the fans!

The 76ers visiting the Nets offered a great game to the brooklyn crowd, who saw 2 teams go pound for pound all night with a grand finale that had Nerlens Noel throw a crazy dunk down with 3.2 seconds left in the game.
However the Nets took control early in the game and took off to close the 1st quarter by a 32-23 lead. Luc Mbah a Moute – back from a minor toe injury – was showing great discipline and that he has obviously a major role in the Sixers system. He scores his first 3-pointer at the 9th minute mark to finish the game with 16 points ( 2nd leading scorer for the 76ers ), 6 for 10 from the field and 2 for 3 from the 3pt line, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.
Robert Covington will finish with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. The momentum switches side in the 2nd quarter and will see Luc and co come back outscoring their opponents 22-14 to close out the gap and go back to the locker room down 1. 46-45 Brooklyn.
In the second half, the Nets take a 6pt lead to finish the 3rd quarter with 71-64 before the Sixers pull out an amazing 4th quarter. They take the lead with a play from Tony Wroten (12 pts, 2rbs, 4 ast ) with 2’41 » left in the game. Both teams are scoreless during 2 minutes before Brook Lopez ties the game up with 25″ left. MCW takes his time in the final seconds then gets to the rim by himself. While getting up to the hole he dishes the ball wonderfully to Nerlens Noel next to him who finishes up with a terrific dunk ! Lopez will try a desperate shot at the buzzer and will airball it from the 3pt line. Then the whole team along with the bench jumps out to celebrate this 6th win of the season ( 5th on the road ).
Luc’s return helped tremendously the team on the court and mentally while they still stand at the 14th spot in the Eastern conference with 6 Wins for 29 Losses.
Coming off of a 5 game losing streak, the 76ers finally enjoyed a win by doing so at home for the first time of the season. A 95-92 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers , earned in the second half, and 4th quarter won 35 to 24.
Philly started the game pretty well with a quite even 1st quarter ( 19-20 ) before the Cavs speed the pace up in the second quarter with a 30-18 lead giving them a 13 point-lead at halftime ( 50-37 ). Kevin Love was on top of this mastership and will finish the game with 28 pts 19 rbs and 2 ast! The sixers had to rely on Tony Wroten ( 20 points, 1 rebound, 8 assists ) along with Michael Carter-Williams ( 18 points, 6 rebounds, 13 assists ) to fight back.
In the second half, Cleveland increases the lead, being up by 17 points, before the Sixers tighten up their defense to finally take over the momentum. An incredible come back will now take place, pushed by the 18,000 fans of Wells Fargo Center. The 76ers win the 3rd quarter 23-18 to close out the gap to 68-60 and will eventually keep on rolling with their confidence to go snatch that Win in the last 5 minutes of the game. Tony Wroten brings the team back in a 2pt-game ( 86-88 ) and then tie it up a few seconds later 88-88. With one minute left on the clock, he allows Philly to take the lead with 2 free throws. Then with 20″6 left on the board, two missed free throws from Matthew Delladova will see the sixes take off with a lay-up from Wroten with 9″1 left in the game.
Short win but precious for Philly ( 5W/28L ) who not only wins at home for the first time but leaves the last spot in the eastern conference to New York ( 5W/32L )

The trip to Portland ( 2nd in the Western conference 24 W/7L ) didn’t look easy. Indeed it turned out to be a one-way game, where thé 76ers never won a quarter.
However the 1st quarter is pretty close and the Blazers only end it with a 3 pt lead at 27-24.Damian Lillard is setting the tone ( he finishes with 28 pts,7/7 from the foul line, 5 rbds et 9 ast), imitated by Wesley Matthews (25 pts, 7/17 from the 3pt line ). On the Sixers side, Tony Wroten (22 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals ) et Michael Carter-Williams (17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 ast, 2 steals ) try to fire back. The gap is getting bigger and the Blazers take a 10 pts lead at halftime 61-51.
The second half isn’t any different than the 1st, with dominate in every aspect of the game (25 assists versus 16, 48 rebounds vs 42, 86% Free Throws shooting percentage vs 55% côté 76ers) and will end up logically winning the contest.
Luc Mbah a Moute who spent 25’ on the court with 9 points, 4 rebounds et 1 ast, came back on the loss after the game.
« The 76ers earned their 4th win of the season in Miami with a great effort – starting from the half of the 3rd quarter – after being down 23 points.
Up until then indeed, the Heat was ruling the contest hands down. They started out taking a 32-19 lead in the 1st quarter, then in the 2nd the scoring evened itself out a little bit but the Heat finished the 1st half with a 15 points lead. The 76ers will completely flip things around and outscore the Heat 45-18 ! This gives a mark of 31-21 in favor a Philadelphia in the 3rd and the 76ers will even afford the luxury to go past their opponent with a 18-9 run in the final quarter, despite several possibilities for the Heat to come back in the money time. An incredible ending that will reinsure 76ers fans. Motivation, talent and burning desire to win is carrying the team ! Luc Mbah a Moute had a remarkable performance with 19 pts, 6 rebounds and 2 steals in 38’51 ». Michael Carter-Williams had 20 pts , 3 tbs , 5 assists and 6 steals.
Sixers recording their 4th win away this season ( 4 W/ 23 L ) and finally get in a positive streak with 2 consecutive wins. Waiting now for this 1st home Win that the fans have been impatiently looking for !
