Still deprived of James Harden, the Rockets won on the floor of the Bulls. Despite a return of the premises in the 3rd quarter time, the Rockets have mastered the game overall. Chris Paul has 24 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, Eric Gordon 24 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, Gerald Green 22 points, 3 rebounds.

Houston starts strong and goes all 3 points, leads 30-13 and pockets the first quarter 35-22. In the next period, the Bulls narrow their gap to a 33-25 and return to 4 Rockets before the break, which lead 60-55.

At the restart, the Bulls take the advantage 66-63. The Rockets react with an 8-0 at the end of the period, which gives them the 3rd quarter 27-21 and 11 points lead 87-76 at the start of the last. The last 12 minutes are completely under control by the Rockets (29-31), who are back to winning 116-107 after 2 losses.

In this duel of the first two of the Western Conference, the Rockets lost to the Warriors in the last quarter, after a balanced match, despite a dominance in visitor statistics (45 rebounds at 38, 35 assists at 20, 55.2% at 2 points against 47.2%). Eric Gordon has 30 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists, Chris Paul 28 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, Gerald Green 29 points, 3 rebounds. In front, Stephen Curry finished with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, Klay Thompson 28 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and Draymond Green 17 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists.

Houston takes the first quarter time 37-33 at the end of the period, thanks to the 3 points of Green and Gordon. Golden State starts on a 7-2 in the second quarter and returns to 39-40, then both teams cling to halftime. The Warriors pocket it 29-26 but the Rockets stay ahead 63-62.

The third quarter is just as tight, the Warriors are ahead of 74-79 and then the Rockets pass in front of 85-79. The two teams are tied 90-90 but Young and Curry chained the 3 points, giving them the period 31-27 and 3 points ahead at the start of the last 90-93. The Warriors quickly take a 10-point lead 91-101 and control the Rockets who fail to come back. Golden State takes the last quarter 31-24 and the match 124-114.

During a crazy game and after 2 extra time, the Rockets have returned to victory against the Lakers after a bad series of 5 consecutive defeats. The return of Chris Paul has done a lot of good (28 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists), while James Harden who already had 40 points, 2 rebounds and 11 assists came out injured in the 4th quarter (ischio). Trevor Ariza adds 26 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists.

The match starts on a big rhythm, the two teams stand but Houston ends well the first quarter and passes 44-37. Los Angeles quickly tie in the second 51-51 and won this quarter 35-21. At the break, the Lakers are in front 72-65.

The Rockets are struggling in the 3rd quarter, and have up to 17 points behind 71-88. They reduce the gap a little, but the Lakers pocket this 3rd period 29-25 and lead 101-90 at the start of the last quarter. Houston does not give up in the last 12 minutes and manages to narrow his gap. Gerald Green tie 122-122 on a 3-point 17.4 seconds buzzer, allowing the Rockets to hang overtime. Five crazy minutes during which take turns the head of the meeting. Chris Paul gives the 133-131 lead at 4 seconds, but Tucker fouls Ingram at 0.8 seconds, which turns his two free throws and tie 133-133. It was in the last minute of the 2nd extra time that the Rockets managed to win their opponent. Kyle Kuzma gets countered twice, Chris Paul tie 142-142 on free throws, then PJ Tucker scores on an offensive rebound. Chris Paul completed the game on 4 free throws. The Rockets finish well the year on this final victory 148-142!

The Rockets are not completely cured, and will have to stand still some time, the absences of Luc Mbah a Moute (shoulder) and James Harden.

Bad series for the Rockets, who bow for the 3rd time in a row. Still without Luc Mbah a Moute and Chris Paul injured, Houston lost in the end.

Both teams played side by side throughout the game, with very little difference in score. OKC starts on a 7-0, then the Rockets equal 22-22 and pocket the first quarter 31-28. The Rockets take a 7-point lead in the second 50-43, but the Thunder takes the lead just before break 58-57.

OKC starts the third quarter on a 11-2 lead 67-59, but Houston is late and back to the score. The Rockets pocket the 31-30 period and are tied with local 88-88. The Thunder finally won in the last quarter (24-19) despite a tight match to the end. Russell Westbrook finished with 31 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists, James Harden 29 points, 8 rebounds, 14 assists.

After their loss to the Lakers 116-122, which ended 14 consecutive wins, the Rockets fell a second time against the other Los Angeles team, the Clippers. Deprived of Luc Mbah a Moute, Chris Paul and Clint Capela, all 3 injured, the Rockets lost the game in the last quarter, despite a new big performance by James Harden (51 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists).

The Rockets start strong as usual, lead 21-9 and take the first quarter 33-23. Houston confirms in the second 32-29 and leads at halftime 65-52.

The second period switches to the advantage of visitors, who equal 74-74 on a 22-9. Williams chained 3 times 3 consecutive points in the end of the 3rd quarter, won by the Clippers 35-20 and leading 85-87 at the start of the last. Los Angeles keeps its lead throughout the period and finishes the work on an 11-5. The Rockets are 10 points behind 118-128.

Utah hooked Houston much of the game, before giving in the final quarter with a huge Eric Gordon who scored 17 of his 33 points of the game (record in season). James Harden has 26 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, Clint Capela 24 points, 19 rebounds and 3 assists.

The first two quarters are balanced. In front of 17-10 on a 3 points of Chris Paul, the Rockets let slip the first quarter in favor of Jazz 25-26. Utah’s lead is 39-31 in the second, but the Rockets return ahead just before break 51-50.

The two teams stand in 3 points in the 3rd quarter, but Utah takes a 5-point lead in the last minute, and takes the 34-28 innings to lead 79-84 at the start of the last quarter. A crazy time during which the Rockets jostle visitors and put on 3 points. The Rockets win the fourth quarter 41-15, win 120-99 and win a 20th victory in 21 games!

Luc Mbah a Moute and Amanda Edwards, Houston Council Member, organized a magnificent evening for this Christmas, to offer presents and be of use meals to families affected by the hurricane Harvey.

Luc Mbah a Moute came out of the match against Charlotte just before half-time, after a bad reception following a dunk. Falling to the ground, his shoulder dislocated. While waiting to know the duration of his unavailability, the Rockets chained an 11th victory in a row, with a record in season for Chris Paul who achieves 31 points at 10/18, 7 rebounds and 11 assists.

Despite a good presence in the rebounds (56 to 45), the Hornets were quickly distanced and never returned. With a 25-0 slipped between the end of the first quarter (38-23) and the start of the second (25-26), the Rockets quickly took cover and lead 63-49 to the break.

Houston pocketed the 3rd quarter 28-20 and is 22 points clear at the start of the last 91-69. The Rockets control the end of the game and Charlotte took the opportunity to reduce the gap a bit in the 4th (17-27). Final victory without shaking for the Rockets 108-96, still leading the Western Conference (22 wins, 4 losses).

Even in difficulty, the Rockets are still doing well and thus ensuing a 10th consecutive victory. The Pelicans were almost successful, leaving the Rockets in the 3rd quarter with flattering statistics: 57.6% success, 54.5% at 3 points, 41 rebounds at 36. E’Twaun Moore puts 36 points , 3 rebounds and 3 assists, Jrue Holiday 37 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Clint Capela is not left with a career record (28 points at 13/14, 8 rebounds and 5 against). Chris Paul adds his 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

The game started on a very fast pace with attack Pelicans, who take 11 points lead 38-27. Eric Gordon (27 points, 2 rebounds, 1 pass) goes 8 points to pick up at 41-35 at the end of the first quarter. The two teams stand in a handful of points in the second and the intensity does not fall. Houston pocketed the 43-35 quarter and led by 2 points at the 78-76 break.

New Orleans took 13 points in the third quarter 101-88, the time for Chris Paul to score 8 points including 2 times 3 points in a row that limit the breakage. The Pelicans are in front 103-96 thanks to this period carried away 27-18. Clint Capela equalizes 112-112 in the last quarter, Rondo to 3 points gives 2 points ahead to visitors 119-117, then James Harden takes things in hand in the last 3 minutes, with 12 points in a row! The Rockets fate on a 34-20 and a final victory 130-123!

James Harden has 29 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, Ryan Anderson 23 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, Chris Paul 18 points, 9 rebounds, 13 assists, Luc Mbah has 8 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assists. 22’45.

The first quarter is to the advantage of the Rockets, who lead quickly 15-10. The Jazz even 15-15 but Houston goes on a 10-5 which offers him the period 25-20. Houston once again dominated its subject, winning on the floor of the Lakers with 50% success against 38.1%. James Harden scores 36 points for 4 rebounds and 9 assists, Chris Paul adds 21 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists.

After a first quarter-time observation 27-27, the Rockets accelerated in the second 34-19. Luc Mbah a Moute scored 3 points, followed by James Harden (52-40) and the Rockets led at 61-46.

The Lakers return to 3 points 70-67 at the beginning of the 3rd quarter on a nice series 21-9. The Rockets respond by a 9-0, and keep their opponents at bay until the end of the period. The Lakers take this quarter 27-24 but concede 12 points behind 85-73 at the start of the last. Chris Paul starts the period on 2 times 3 points that offer 18 points lead to the Rockets, which run until the buzzer 33-22.

With this 13th win in 14 games, Houston is first in the West ahead of the Warriors and Spurs.

After a balanced first half, the Rockets took the lead over the Pacers in the second half of the match. Best in rebounds (49-36) and in assists (26-18) Houston also shot just 3 points (18/40 vs. 7/28 for Indiana). James Harden scores 29 points for 8 rebounds and 10 assists, Clint Capela adds 22 points, 13 rebounds, 1 pass, Ryan Anderson 19 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists.

Rockets less skilled than usual in the first quarter, are surprised by the Pacers who win 27-22. Not to worry Texans who take the advantage in the middle of the second quarter 42-39 and have 5 points lead at break 54-49 after a 32-22.

Still at 5 points in the 3rd quarter 69-64 thanks to the 3 points of Bogdanovic, Pacers cling but will crack on a 13-5 Rockets at the end of the period. 35-22 for Houston in the 3rd quarter leading 18 points 89-71 at the start of the last quarter, controlled 29-26 for a final victory 118-97!

The Rockets finish the month of November with 12 wins for a single loss, and are on a run of 6 wins.

City proclaims November 28, 2017 as Luc’s Day in Houston.

Today, the Mayor and City Council honored the Rockets’ Forward for his contributions to the City by proclaiming November 28, 2017, Luc Mbah a Moute Day in Houston.

The full proclamation reads:

« WHEREAS, an influential NBA basketball player for the Houston Rockets, Luc Mbah A. Moute is a community servant and leader. He serves as a motivational speaker, sharing his inspirational story to help people overcome life challenges and follow their dreams; and,

WHEREAS, a few years ago, Luc Mbah A. Moute launched the Luc Mbah A. Moute Foundation, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring children around the world to believe in themselves, and the many possibilities for their future despite life’s trials and tribulations. His organization also helps the youth by contributing to improving issues such as education, health and nutrition; and,
