The Rockets signed tonight a huge performance at the Suns with a record in the key, that of the highest total points in the history of the franchise in a first half with 90 points! James Harden still scored an outstanding performance with 48 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists (33 points to 9/12 in the first period). Chris Paul back 11 points, 4 rebounds and 10 assists. Ryan Anderson adds 24 points, 4 rebounds. Luc Mbah slightly sick Moute was left at rest for the meeting.

The offensive steamroller once again came into play in the first quarter, already 22 points ahead in 12 minutes 45-23. Phoenix scored more points in the second, but Houston totally masters his subject during a game where the baskets scroll. The Rockets sign a 45-42 in the second quarter and are ahead at break 90-65.

The second period is a formality. The Rockets pocket the 3rd quarter time 30-26 and can quietly control the end of the game (22-25). Final victory 142-116! The Rockets have recovered in the most beautiful ways after their poor performance at home against the Raptors (113-129).

The Rockets impressed once more outside (7 wins / 1 loss) by outperforming the Pacers. Houston dominated all areas of play (47.8% to 2 points against 44.6% for Indiana, 47 rebounds to 41, 24 assists to 18). Three players finish at 20 points or more: Clint Capela 20 points, 17 rebounds and 1 pass, Eric Gordon 21 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists and James Harden with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 15 assists. Luc Mbah a Moute made 11 extra points with 1 rebound and 2 assists in 25’08.

As the day before, Houston starts very strong on a 24-9 in 5 minutes, punctuated by twice 3 points of Ariza and a 3 points of Gordon. The 3 points rain and Luc Mbah has Moute place his, which offers the first quarter-time Rockets 35-18. The Pacers return to 10 points early in the second quarter 29-39, take the period 33-28 but Houston remains firmly in the lead at halftime 51-63.

The Rockets took revenge on the Grizzlies, dominating the whole meeting. Luc Mbah a Moute was back after being spared on the previous match.
James Harden continues his festival with 38 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists, Eric Gordon added 26 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists.

The Rockets quickly widened the gap in the first quarter 28-10 before the Grizzlies reduced a little gap at the end of the period 33-22. Memphis returns to 6 points in the second quarter 54-48 at 1’25 of the break, but Houston regains its lead on a 9-2. The Rockets pocket the 2nd quarter 29-28 and the half 62-50.

The Rockets then completely master the second period, offering the 3rd quarter 31-20. With 23 points ahead of 93-70 at the start of the last quarter, the end of the match is a formality (18-26) and the Rockets easily win the game 111-96.

The Rockets won at home against the Cavaliers, despite the absence of Luc Mbah Moute, spared due to a small gene left knee. Houston led the rebounds 45-26, and finished with a 46.8% shooting success against Cleveland’s 55.6%. James Harden (35 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists) responded to LeBron James (33 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists).

The Rockets take the lead in the middle of the first quarter with a 17-0 lead and 36-25. They have 17 points ahead in the second 53-36 before crossing a big empty passage. The Cavs make a 20-6 that gives them a quarter-time 42-29. At the break, Cleveland passed 67-65.

Both teams battle in the third quarter, although Houston eventually take the lead 35-26 and lead 100-93 at the start of the last. James Harden scored 3 points and 9 points in the Rockets 105-96. Despite the return of visitors 112-111 to 1’10, the Rockets manage to control the last moments and finally win 117-113.

After pocketing the first quarter 36-25, Houston is already 18 points ahead at break 69-51 after winning the second quarter 33-26.
Atlanta will never come back in the game and the second half is a formality. Houston leads 97-76 at the start of the last quarter and controls the end of the game 22-28. The Rockets win 119-104.

Houston flew past the match against Utah tonight: 59.3% to 2 points against 43.2%, 42 rebounds to 33, 59% to 3 points against 38.2%. James Harden even achieved his career record with 56 points at 19/25 and 7/8 at 3 points, 2 rebounds and 13 assists in 35’15! Eric Gordon adds 20 points with 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

 

The Rockets quickly led the score 39-28 in the first quarter and confirmed in the second 28-21 and are leading at the break with 18 points in advance 67-49. The Rockets explode all in the 3rd quarter with a 48-36 which gives them 30 points ahead of the start of the last 115-85. They control the end of game 22-25 to win 137-110.

The Rockets are 1st in the West with 8 wins and 3 losses. Houston will receive Cleveland next Thursday (4 wins, 6 losses).

The Rockets dominated most of the game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Luc Mbah a Moute had 10 points, 9 rebounds and 1 assist in 24’59, James Harden 31 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists, Ryan Anderson 21 points and 3 rebounds.

After taking a 23-15 lead and leading the score in the first quarter 27-24, the Knicks were joined in the early second by the Rockets on two free throws by Ryan Anderson followed by a 3 PJ Tucker points. Houston leads 34-30 and will then create a big gap until the end of the game. The Rockets win the second quarter 36-21 and take a 12-point lead at break 60-48.

The second period is one-way for the Rockets who make a 40-26 in the 3rd quarter time and lead 100-74 to the start of the last which they easily control 19-23.

The Rockets are 2nd in the West with 6 wins and 3 losses.

After falling 103-89 in the Grizzlies, the Rockets chained for the first time this season a second consecutive loss against 76ers 107-115. Defeated at the 105-104 buzzer 10 days ago, the 76ers took their revenge thanks to Joel Embiid’s big game (22 points 9 rebounds, 5 assists) and Ben Simmons (24 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists). James Harden has 29 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists, Eric Gordon 25 points and 2 assists, Clint Capela 12 points, 15 rebounds and 2 assists, Luc Mbah has Moute 11 points and 2 rebounds.

Dominating the entire game (55% in shots against 39.8%, 48 rebounds at 35 and 27 assists at 17), Philadelphia quickly broke away to take the first quarter 37-27. In the second, Houston narrowed the gap before the break on a 16-8. The Rockets take the second quarter 29-21 and return to 2 points of the 76ers leading 58-56.

 

 

The third quarter benefits 76ers (34-24) who take 12 points ahead of the start of the last. In spite of their clumsiness to 3 points (13/47), the Rockets return to 1 point 105-106 on 2 free throws of James Harden to 3’06 of the end. The Rockets were brilliant on the floor of the Hornets, dominating the entire game, with 44.7% shooting success against 37.5% for the locals, 51 rebounds at 44, 21 assists at 16. Luc Mbah a Moute has an excellent performance with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 23 of assessment in 41’46 « , James Harden finishes with his first triple double of the season 27 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists, Eric Gordon 26 points , 2 rebounds and 2 assists.

 

The start is favorable to the Hornets which are in front of 19-11 then 30-27 at the end of the first quarter-time, but the Rockets will quickly pass in the second with a 23-7, to lead of 13 points 50-37 on a 3 point James Harden. The Rockets pocket the 2nd quarter 29-16 and take a 10-point lead at break 56-46.

Charlotte clings in the 3rd quarter (28-23) and returns to 4 points of Houston 78-74 at the start of the last. A period during which the Rockets provide (31-19), with Luc Mbah has Moute to the maneuver in the money-time which connects a 3 points followed by a dunk. Houston wins 109-93 before his next game tonight in Memphis.

The Rockets delivered a great battle for the 76ers, winning 104-105 at the buzzer on a 3-point Eric Gordon (29 points to 7/20 including three 3-point in the last quarter, 4 rebounds and 5 assists ). The two teams each had their strong moments, passing one in front of the other several times. Luc Mbah has Moute (in the starting 5) book as the set of Rockets a great copy with 8 points, 3 rebounds, 3 blocks in 36 ‘. James Harden adds 27 points, 13 assists and 3 rebounds. Clint Capela was intractable under the basket with 20 rebounds and 16 points. Opposite, JJ Redick finished with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, Robert Covington 20 points, 6 rebounds, 1 pass, Joel Embiid 21 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists.

Philadelphia picks up 69-63 in the 3rd quarter, and pocketed this period 26-23 to lead 80-79 to the start of the last 12 minutes. A finish that has kept all its promises. Embiid on a 3-point offer 9 points lead 88-79, but the Rockets cling and give everything in the money time. At 7 points (104-97) at 1’39, Eric Gordon offers the buzzer victory of a fake shot on Joel Embiid followed by a 3 points! The Rockets let their joy burst out and enjoy this 104-105 victory!

Houston was surprised by Memphis who took the lead late in the game. Eric Gordon has 27 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists, James Harden 22 points (8/20), 5 rebounds, 8 assists, Clint Capela 14 points and 6 rebounds, Luc Mbah has Moute 8 points and 2 rebounds. In front, Marc Gasol responded with 26 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists.

On a 3-point Gordon, the Rockets take 6 points in the first quarter 16-10, but the Grizzlies glue 20-20. The Rockets remain ahead 26-24 at the start of the second quarter, which they dominate with 11 points 41-30. Gasol returns to 45-42, but the Rockets pocket the period 31-26 and lead 57-50 to the break.

 

The Rockets keep their opponent at bay in the 3rd quarter (19-20) and are ahead 76-70 in the last. A period that turns totally to the advantage of the Grizzlies who will tilt the game in the last 3 minutes. James Harden rubs James Ennis then Mario Chalmers, in a nervous money time. Conley (17 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists) equalizes 88-88 with a 3-point, then the Grizzlies finish on a 10-2 to win this quarter-time 28-14 and match 98-90.

Houston drops his first game of the season (3 wins, 1 loss) before playing Wednesday in Philadelphia.

The Rockets outperformed themselves against the Mavericks by winning 107-91, with a 36-point lead in the 3rd quarter, with 47.6% shooting success versus 36.9% for Dallas. James Harden feasted with 29 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 31 of Eval, Clint Capela finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, Eric Gordon 18 points, Luc Mbah has Moute 6 points, 5 rebounds and 1 goes in 26’20.

The Rockets took control from the start of the game by pocketing the first quarter 33-20. The derby runs out and Houston takes 10 more points in the second 29-19. At the break, the Rockets already have 23 points 62-39 ahead.

The demonstration continues in the 3rd and the Rockets aggravate the score 30-19. At the start of the last period, Houston leads 92-58 and quietly finished the job leaving some points to the rival Texas (15-33).

Houston will receive Memphis Monday, October 23 to confirm their good start to the season with 3 wins in a row.

The Rockets make a nice move for their first game of the season, winning on the floor of the Warriors! Houston stood in the last minute, Golden State: 48.5% against 53.8%, 36.6% at 3 points against 53.3%. James Harden finishes with 27 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, Eric Gordon achieves 24 points, PJ Tucker 20 points, 6 rebounds, Luc Mbah has 14 points and 4 rebounds in 23’23.

 

Golden State starts strong and leads 22-9 in 5 minutes. Houston responds well and returns to the game by tying 24-24. Nick Young scored 3 times 3 points, but Houston re-gathers again and returns to a point at the end of the first quarter 35-34. In the second, the Warriors quickly reclaim 11 points ahead 51-40, then dig their lead to 17 points 66-49. But thanks to a 10-1 at the end of the period, the Rockets limit the breakage. Golden State pocketed the period 36-28 and led to pause 71-62.

The locals continue to build their lead in the 3rd quarter 80-64. They dominate these 12 minutes 30-26 and have 13 points ahead at the start of the last 101-88.

 

Luc Mbah has Moute chained 2 layup, followed by Gordon who allow Houston to return very quickly 104-101. The end of the match is tight and everything is played in the money time. At 2’09 of the end, Ariza fired at 3 points (119-118). McCaw placed 2 points 121-118, but Harden responds with a layup (121-120). Kevin Durant then loses the ball and the Rockets are ironed in front of 122-121 on 2 free throws by PJ Tucker, obtained after an offensive rebound. Kevin Durant has the match ball, but his shot at the buzzer is one tenth behind and the Rockets win at the extreme limit!

After four wins in a row, the Rockets lose against the Spurs, the last pre-season game. Both teams held the score until the third quarter, but the Spurs made the difference in the last. Houston with 38.6% shootout success versus 52.9% for San Antonio, fired a lot at 3 points (53 attempts with 28.3% success). Eric Gordon scored 27 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, James Harden scored 15 points, 3 rebounds, 11 assists, Clint Capela 9 points, 12 rebounds, 1 pass, Luc Mbah a Moute 7 points and 4 rebounds in 29’15. In front, LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 26 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists.

 

After a balanced start, Houston took 8 points 24-16 but San Antonio put in a 9-0 to pocket the first 25-24. Both teams are held in the second 38-39. The Spurs still remain before at break 54-51 winning this period 29-27.

The visitors quickly gained 9 points in the 3rd quarter 64-55, but the Rockets realized a super 17-4 series to go past 72-68. The Spurs react at the end of the period with a 13-4, which still offers them this quarter-time 27-25. At the start of the last, the Rockets are only 5 points 76-81. The Spurs are leading during the last minutes of the game and are ahead with 12 points 102-90. Gordon with 3 points and Ariza narrow the gap by 5 points 97-102 to 1’36, but the Spurs control the money-time 25-21. Final victory 106-97.

The record of this pre-season remains satisfactory with 4 wins in 5 games. Serious stuff kicks off Tuesday October 17th with the first game of the NBA season for the Rockets who will challenge Golden State Warriors.
