The Luc Mbah a Moute Foundation has several vocations. It works in favour of international trade and investment between Houston, Texas and African cities and especially in Cameroon. Luc Mbah a Moute, a special guest of the Houston Exports Resources Forum, became an ambassador for this program to participate in reflections on the economy and international trade.

Thanks to its Foundation, Luc Mbah a Moute also participates locally in Houston, in various charity aids. In particular, he volunteered in 2017 to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The Luc Mbah a Moute Foundation then organized with Amanda Edwards, a member of the Houston City Council, a wonderful Christmas party to offer gifts and meals to families affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Luc also participated for Thanksgiving, to an evening prepared by 3 local associations, in order to welcome families for an evening full of events and gifts.

The Luc Mbah a Moute Foundation acts in parallel with Luc Mbah a Moute Basketball Camp since 2010, which aims to develop basketball in Cameroon through a socio-educational and sports initiative. In addition to the camp, actions are organized for orphanages with large donations of food and school supplies.

With these initiatives, Luc Mbah a Moute received the recognition of Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner with an honorary distinction for its contributions to the city.
