Loss against the Pacers.

Back at the Staples Center, the Doc Rivers’ guys were quickly overtaken by the Pacers who after losing the first quarter, led the rest of the game. Blake Griffin finished top scoring with 24 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, Chris Paul added 18 points, 2 rebounds, 11 assists, J.J. Redick 15 points, Luc Mbah a Moute 7 points, 4 rebounds, 1 pass.

 

The Clippers however start the game in the best way, leading 23-8 in the first quarter. The Pacers are clumsy (15 missed shots out of 22) and the Californians take advantage to lead 28-17. But the rest of the match quickly turns to the advantage of Indiana, who returns in the second quarter 38-37. The visitors pocket this period 31-24, although the Clippers lead to the pause 52-48.

 

Indiana chains in the third quarter (35-17) and takes the lead with 10 points ahead 71-61. At the start of the last quarter, the Pacers lead 83-69. The Clippers react and return to 4 points 100-104 to 1’26 of the end of the encounter on a Jordan dunk (9 points, 15 rebounds). But Indiana bounces back 100-107 on a 3 points Paul George (16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists) and wins 102-111 despite a 33-28 for the Clippers.

Luc and his teammates remain 3rd in the West (18 wins, 6 defeats) before facing Golden State.
