Oklahoma City inflicted a third successive defeat to LA

After his last two setbacks (107-115 in 97-107 Spurs and Houston), the Clippers have chained a third straight loss, facing the Thunder in the dying seconds of the game. A portion in which Chris Paul stood out with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. In front, it’s Russell Westbrook who responded with 33 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.


In the first quarter, Luc Mbah a Moute (26 ‘, 2 points, 8 rebounds) and its partners have taken 6 points ahead 19-13, before turning 29-23 lead at the start of the second. The Clippers then control the game with 10 points to lead 45-35 before the Thunder will do its late 3-minute halftime. Oklahoma City pocketed the quarter 23-27 but LA leads to the break 52-50.

On a dunk Aldrich, LA has 8 points ahead 83-75 before qu’Oklahoma equalized at 89-89 on a new Ibaka shooting and a 14-6 series. It then remains 3’13, a money time during which the two teams are at turns 1 point. It is in the last 11 seconds as the match swung in favor of the Thunder. Chris Paul intercepted a throw-in and was marked (99-98 to 11 seconds) and Kevin Durant would knock the Clippers, scoring his shot to 6 seconds, and countering the final attempt of Chris Paul to 1 second. Final victory for Oklahoma 99-100. This loss put the Clippers in the 5th place in the West with 16 wins to 13 losses. The next game is Friday December 25 at the Lakers.
