After a balanced first quarter, the Rockets quickly gained a lead to the end of the game. Eric Gordon scored 21 points, Trevor Ariza 18 points, James Harden scored 16 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists, Chris Paul 11 points, 2 rebounds 7 assists. Luc Mbah a Moute played 26’11 during which he scored 8 points for 7 rebounds.
In the first quarter, OKC leads 19-13 but the Rockets are leading by the end of period 27-25 by Anderson who shoots to 3 points. Houston quickly clears the gap in the second on a beautiful 20-7 series, and has 15 points 47-32 lead. Locals react and narrow the gap but Houston is ahead at pause 59-52.

In the second period, the Rockets unwind in the 3rd quarter that they pocket 31-21 to lead 90-73 at the start of the last 12 minutes. With 27 points ahead, Houston quietly controls (14-24) and wins 104-97.
