Rockets beat the Warriors

The Rockets make a nice move for their first game of the season, winning on the floor of the Warriors! Houston stood in the last minute, Golden State: 48.5% against 53.8%, 36.6% at 3 points against 53.3%. James Harden finishes with 27 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, Eric Gordon achieves 24 points, PJ Tucker 20 points, 6 rebounds, Luc Mbah has 14 points and 4 rebounds in 23’23.


Golden State starts strong and leads 22-9 in 5 minutes. Houston responds well and returns to the game by tying 24-24. Nick Young scored 3 times 3 points, but Houston re-gathers again and returns to a point at the end of the first quarter 35-34. In the second, the Warriors quickly reclaim 11 points ahead 51-40, then dig their lead to 17 points 66-49. But thanks to a 10-1 at the end of the period, the Rockets limit the breakage. Golden State pocketed the period 36-28 and led to pause 71-62.
