In the first half, the two teams go pound for pound and will see the 76ers take home the first quarter 24-21. Then the Jazz will notch the second quarter with a 2 point-lead 20-18. At the half, Philadelphia leads by a little point 42-41. Gordon Hayward is running the show (25 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists) while Rudy Gobert is crashing the boards (9 points, 15 rebounds, 2 steals). On Sixers’s side, Isaiah Canaan strikes back (16 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists) helped by Ish Smith (14 points, 7 assists) and Luc Mbah a Moute (14 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals).
In the early second half, the Sixers take a 6 point-lead following a dunk from Nerlens Noel (10 points, 11 rebounds, 6 steals) and the 3 pointer from Jakarr Sampson. The Jazz will quickly come back in the game and flip the script with a 11-3 run to put them back ahead 52-50. Utah keeps shooting well and wins this act 23-13 to enter the fourth with a 9 point-lead 64-55. Utah increases the score gap (14 points) before Philadelphia attempt a come back. The 76ers succeed and win 28-25 but won’t be enough to overcome the final score being down by 6 points.
