After a balanced first half, Houston won in New Orleans taking off in the 3rd quarter, despite a return of the Pelicans in the money time. Although everything was not perfect (42.4% success against 50.6% for locals), James Harden (32 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists) and Chris Paul (21 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists) provided the essential.
The Rockets take the first quarter 32-29, but the Pelicans cling in the second. The Paul-Harden duo allows the Rockets to take the 28-25 in the last moments, and the advantage at the 60-54 break.
